The Newbound Story
Newbound, Inc. was incorporated in 2004 in order to develop and commercialize intellectual property acquired through the liquidation of startup companies EmailRx (2003), The Net Squad (2002) and EveryDay Objects (1999).

Newbound currently owns and operates the Spaminex brand email filtering service, provides consulting services and continues to grow its intellectual property asset base, the Newbound Software Library, through active research and development.
Newbound's current primary revenue stream is from consulting. By leveraging the intellectual property in our Newbound Software Library, we are able to deliver top-quality solutions for our clients very quickly and at lower costs than our competitors.

Past projects have included Business Process Automation, Technical Architecture and Design, Website Development and Content Management System Integration.
The Newbound Software Library (NSL) originated in 1995 as jServe, a multiprotocol java based server application, written by EveryDay Objects. Since then the library has been continually refined and expanded, and now consists of a set of Java frameworks allowing encrypted, secure, peer-to-peer, client/server communications on scalable virtual computing environments, servers, desktops, and mobile devices.
Newbound is committed to maintaining and improving the NSL because it allows us to continually leverage pre-existing code in order to provide high quality solutions very quickly.
The Newbound Software Library is a compact Java library with these key components:
  • Application Server Engine
  • HTTP, FTP, POP3, SMTP, DNS and Peer-To-Peer services
  • Cryptography library
  • Data management and persistence layer
  • App Publishing System with "snap-together" creation of dynamic AJAX apps
